Netagrow Technologies LTD

"My vision for Netagrow is to be the leading force in data-driven agriculture across Africa within the next five to ten years. I see Netagrow empowering thousands of farmers, significantly reducing crop loss, and fostering a generation of informed and prosperous agricultural entrepreneurs " – Nchimunya Munyama, CEO & Co-Founder

Netagrow Technologies is a Zambia-based smart farming platform combining AI, Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and local language intelligence to support smallholder farmers across Africa. Its platform delivers AI-powered crop disease detection, soil analysis, and personalized agricultural advisory in local languages — with models currently being fine-tuned across five African languages. Operating in 194 locations across Zambia with over 3,600 active users and partnerships with the Zambian Government and UNDP, Netagrow is building the data infrastructure for a more productive and climate-resilient African agriculture sector. Founded by Nchimunya Munyama and Oliver Mbuzi, the company was supported by the UNDP Accelerator Lab's National Innovation Initiative and recognized by the Engineering Institution of Zambia for Engineering Innovation in AI for Sustainable Development. Through the Compute Accelerator's Ready Track, Netagrow will fine-tune its Mau language model across five additional Zambian languages — moving from two to seven supported local languages — enabling smallholder farmers across the country to access agricultural advisory in their local tongue as it expands nationally.
